Welcome to our newest seminarian, Bryce Sutton, who will begin his journey of priestly formation this fall. Bryce is a parishioner of the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans and will be attending St. Joseph Seminary College starting in the fall of 2026.
Before entering the seminary, Bryce completed his sophomore year at Louisiana State University as a history major. When he isn’t studying, he enjoys staying active through tennis, hunting, and hiking, and he treasures time spent with his family. It is also fitting to note that his confirmation saint is St. Thérèse of Lisieux, known for her “little way” of trust and surrender to God.
We are deeply grateful for Bryce’s “yes” to the Lord and his commitment to discerning a vocation for the Diocese of Shreveport. This is a significant step for him and a blessing for our diocese. Please keep Bryce in your prayers as he prepares for this new chapter, and continue to pray for all our seminarians as they seek to follow God’s will.
