Diocesan Youth Summit 2025 – ALIVE!
The Office of Youth Ministry, in collaboration with the Office of Faith Formation, is thrilled to host the 2025 Diocesan Youth Summit (DYS25)—a day filled with faith, fellowship, and fun! This year’s DYS will not only be an inspiring youth event featuring a dynamic keynote speaker, musical guests, small group discussions, games, prayer, Adoration, and Mass—it will also serve as a Confirmation retreat for participating parishes. Together, our offices are excited to provide an experience where young people can encounter Christ in a meaningful and transformative way!
Alive! In Him, where the broken are redeemed, our hearts beating with eternal purpose, our souls burning with truth and grace.
We are now redeemed and ALIVE! He brings new life.
As Jesus told Martha:
“I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.” – John 11:25-26

Meet Our Special Guests
🎤 Kathleen Higgins – A Louisiana native and dynamic speaker, Kathleen brings faith to life through storytelling, humor, and real-life experiences. Rooted in the rich Catholic culture of the South, she inspires others to walk with Christ in their daily lives.
🎶Josh Blakesley Band – The Josh Blakesley Band has acknowledged a simple calling: To make music that moves people into prayer and action. Hailing from the central Louisiana area, the band takes pride in its heritage. Blakesley, Grae McCullough, Corban Calhoun, and Blake Powell were all “born on the bayou”. Their songs like “Revive Us” and “Brighter Days” from their album Even In This highlight the southern culture and flair that is soaked in their roots.
