Hot cakes come join us!” This was the shout of St. Joseph church in Zwolle’s newly formed core youth group ACT (Active Catholic Teens) on Sunday, March 2. A pancake breakfast was served after Mass until noon to help raise money for the seminarians of our diocese. Through the generosity of family, friends and parishioners a total of $1,117.00 was collected.
These donations were given to John Mark Willcox, Director of Church Vocations and Communications, to be distributed to seminarians.
Our gratitude goes to the ACT youth group and adults who planned, organized and prepared the Pancake Breakfast. Special thanks goes to our pastor, Fr. Timothy Hurd, for his help and support of the ACT group fundraiser.
