"Do This in Memory of Me..."

On Saturday May 24 through Sunday, May 25, the Serra Club will hold its Annual Eucharistic Adoration and Corpus Christi Procession. This is a weekend of prayer, adoration, Mass and Benediction being offered to change the culture in our Diocese and increase the awareness of the need for vocations and to foster vocations to the ordained priesthood and vowed religious.

Twenty-four hour adoration for vocations will begin on Saturday, May 24, at 11:00 am in St. Michaels Chapel at the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans. On Sunday, May 25, following 11:00 am Mass at the Cathedral, the procession will begin going east along Jordan Street. Special mentions will take place at Loyola College Prep, Sutton Hospital for Children, Christus Schumpert Hospital and St. John Berchmans Catholic School to pray for the schools and catholic education in our area, with particular attention on calling forth persons with vocations.
