Official Appointments by the Diocesan Administrator

The following information is provided at the direction of Reverend Monsignor Earl V. Provenza, V.F., Diocesan Administrator. Given this 18th day of March, 2008, at the Chancery.

• Reverend Charles Glorioso is appointed Pastor of Christ the King Church, Bossier City, effective March 24, 2008, for a term of three years.

• Reverend Peter Pulivelil, C.M.I. is appointed Parochial Administrator of St. Benedict the Black Church, Grambling, effective March 24, 2008 for a period of three years.

• Reverend Patrick A. Scully, Pastor of St. Clement Church in Vivian, has requested and been granted retirement from active priestly ministry for health reasons effective March 1, 2008.

• Sister Marilyn Vassallo is appointed Coordinator for Religious effective March 19, 2008. This is in addition to her ministry in the Diocese of Shreveport.
• Reverend Rigoberto Betancurt, former Pastor of Christ the King Church in Bossier City, has left active priestly ministry in the Diocese of Shreveport, as of this date.

• Reverend Richard Norsworthy is appointed Pastor of St. Joseph Church in Bastrop, effective April 15, 2008, for a term of three years.

• Reverend Monsignor Franz Graef is reappointed Judge for the Diocesan Tribunal for a term of three years, retroactive to December 22, 2006.
