We are called to serve the Lord.
We are called to be active in our Ministry.
How active are you?
How are you serving the Lord?
WHAT’S
HAPPENING IN THE WINTER MONTHS?
We have all made New Year’s Resolutions. This is a good time to see how you are doing and to pray to keep those resolutions strong and steady!
If one of your Resolutions was to get more involved in our Sunday Liturgies plan to come to one of our Liturgical Conference Days. This year’s theme is “Here Comes Everybody – Bringing Liturgy to Life!” The day is for all those who serve – or hope to serve – their parishes as Liturgical Ministers or RCIA Team workers. Workshops will be offered for Ushers/Greeters, Readers/Lector, Eucharistic Ministers, Cantors, Choir Members and Musicians, Parish Liturgy Committee Members and RCIA Teams. A day is scheduled for the three deaneries in the Diocese! In the Eastern Deanery – Saturday, February 4th at St. Paschal’s Church in West Monroe. In the Western Deanery – Saturday, February 18th at St. Mary of the Pines Church in Shreveport. In the Southern Deanery – Saturday, March 18th at St. John the Baptist Church in Many! Your parish has information of these days. Ask about them or call the Diocesan Office of Catechetics at (318) 868-4441 or (800) 256-1542.
